i have the devil inside me
planning and scheming his evil deeds
waiting the chance to become free
to bring mayhem and plant seeds
of violence, lunacy, hatred and sin
rocks the cage he is in
of weak flesh and doubtful thought
what meek adversary have you got!
for i suffer, struggle and twist
to keep bad omens far away
and in that i must insist
or my soul will rot someday
devil lives inside, it is true
invisible to your mortal human eyes
so, stay away. avoid any surprise
who knows what i might do?
